The 8500B 200-Pound Stainless Steel Professional Rock Salt Drop Spreader boasts a sizable one-piece hopper with rolled edges, a sturdy stainless steel frame, solid linkage for precise gate control, chain-driven agitators to prevent clumping and enhance product flow, and 12-inch pneumatic tires suitable for various terrains. This weld-free, all-stainless construction is capable of holding up to 200 lbs of material. The hopper is constructed from 36" deep-drawn stainless steel and the discharge holes are strategically placed behind the wheels to ensure a full 36" drop width. The independent left and right solid linkage gate controls allow for efficient operation, while the split axle drive train allows the wheels to drive the left and right agitators separately, effectively breaking up salt. Additionally, the stainless steel drive chains are corrosion-resistant and provide consistent torque to eliminate salt clumps.
